Finally seeing the light

As you see, eventhough I haven't been blogging a lot lately due to school related business and a bad case of sickness, I made some progress Émilien! Worsted weight, lots of stockinette... perfect for my busy schedule.

And I missed my blog and you guys so so much. Homeworks and sickness kept me away from you, and it made me so sad! But, I had to think about my priorities, and now I'm winning the game and everything is going along nicely. And I finally have time to knit!

I wanted to knit something to my boyfriend, and I suggested him a hoodie with a zip and stripes. And he said yes, and I was so happy! I don't know if it's the same for you, but my love never wants me to knit him anything... I'm super excited now! (UPDATE: Oops! Sorry for the confusion... Émilien is the hoodie I'm knitting for my BF!)

Also, stay tuned guys for the next issue of What's Hot on Ravelry. I've been seeking for some sanity on Ravelry, and I have a HUGE amount of new gorgeous patterns to show you!

How lovely to have you back. I like the look of Emilien. Can't wait to see the finished item. Looking forward to what's hot on ravelry - not that my queue needs anymore things in it!

So this is not for your man? I'm a bit confused.

I knit mine a jumper for christmas last year, a Guernsey in dark grey tweed. When he opened the gift he thought it was bought! :) I had to make some adjustments though because I couldn't fit it on him while knitting (it was secret). The neck was too wide and the arms too. They still are ... I haven't made myself open them and knit them again yet, should do though cos winter is pretty much here. I'm not sure if he would wear it in public ... mmmh

I love the stripes! My Ravelry queue is out of control but I'm always up for adding to it!

Glad you're feeling better! It is absolutely no fun being sick. Lovely colours for your boyfriend's sweater... mine usually requests greys or browns, but maybe I'll try throwing in some icy blue the next time :)
