Last saturday (May 9th) was the International Knit in Public Day! In honor of this annual event Ariane and I took part of the activities organised by Mont Tricot in Sutton. The day went by so fast! It was a very festive event, where beginners and advanced knitters came together to celebrate. People passing by were stopping to take pictures and some were so intrigued they asked to learn the basics of knitting! Children and youngs at heart were all part of the event.
But what really made our day was meeting you, Falling Stitches' readers. Ariane and I were thrilled to meet Kam from Everyday Peacocks, Lisa from Petites tuques and again the wonderful Lucinda from the Mont Tricot yarn shop in Sutton. Here are their swebites! Pay them a visit, you won't regret it!

I tried to learn how to knit this winter but, I kept messing it up and losing stitches. So, I'm sticking to crochet so far.

I think knitting is more difficult then crochet. And yet, I can't crochet...
